Mine did the same thing, I just flat ironed them after they dried and they were good. I couldn't figure out a way to avoid it so, I just tried to avoid washing too often (like every other day as opposed to daily)

You prob washed them in water that was too hot and/or the extensions were poor quality.

if they weren't real human hair, they are probably poor quality.

Were they human hair extensions? If so, then you can just flat iron those and they'll snap back into straightness. If not, then you should coat them with a light conditioner and then towel dry them.

But if they aren't really good quality, then they probably aren't worth all of the effort.

Most likely, the extensions were either synthetic or very bad quality. What brand was it? Also, silky hair tends to be more stringy and soft than if you were to buy 100% human yaky hair. But yaky is mostly recommended if your hair is coarse or thick. If your hair is thin and/or stringy, then I suggest silky straight....but a good quality and make sure it is 100% human hair.

I think they are wonderful as long as they are not detectable or synthetic. I have them myself and they are great fun for dressing up or changing your look. I have several looks and after having them braided and glued and clipped in, I would agree that-for white girls anyway-that the clip in pieces and sections of real hair are the best way to go. They attach and look beautiful in under two minutes, and you can easily remove, wash, style and dye them however you please. This way, you can also change your part daily if you want to, not just when you go have your weave tightened up:)

well i am a hairdresser for 4 years with a educator license and 2 cerified certificates from big product lines . .what i can suggest to you is if you really want them do it! but here are your disadvantages . .they have to be dried completely at the root after u shower do u don't grow mold in the bonding, they can become very itchey!, you must brush them alot other wise you will get knotts that won't easily come out, get them done professionally! it will be a heftey bill but you won't regrete it and when you are sick of them make sure you have the place that put them in take them out other wise you will ruin your hair also they aren't that healthy for the hair your hair will look somewhat damaged when they are removed unless cared for 100% correct!

Hair extensions able to be done in three ways. A weave, clip on and Glue on with a wax. The laser idea has to be bull ****. I could not wait to have long hair having being Irish and riding Harley's I wanted the hair now. When I set up appointment I had 5 inches of hair all around my head. After two full weeks of return visits I paid 1250.00 for an extra 16 inches of hair which was placed on the top of my head toward the middle going back and filled in to the back of my neck. The 1st time I look at my self and I was disappoint so I when in to get more hair to fill in all the area need to look like really human being. The results were great I had a new look. I brought real human hair that was treated and colored to bleed into my hair. I had the hair glue in the process is simple take a group of hair from your head a 1/4 inch of hair and glue it on the 16inch piece. Easy to wash since the hair seems not to curl. Feels like real hair and fun to play act which I was really doing act the time and wasn't really thinking. Downside hair is a ***** to brush and comb, hair falls out over time sometimes to soon and replacements take time with large cost. Hard to sleep intill you get use to it, and you look silly when the hair falls out. I wouldn't recommend the other ways to have hair put on there not good for your health.

No, they're so obvious and end up looking trashy. Even the celebrities with the thousand dollar hair stylists... you can tell their hair is fake and it's unattractive.

Well i'm sorry i can't help you with the colored hair extentions but you can get the human hair extentions that are clip in on hsn for 500 or half the price or cheaper on ebay and dye them those colors .. or just go to sally's and get the human hair so you can dye them what ever colors you want (: best of luck !

It would probably be cheaper to buy the extensions and sew the clips on, yes. But if you don't do it right, they may not last long, or you may have to keep re-sewing them.

I would go with human hair also. Maybe be alot more, but they are better quality and you can do waht you please with them. [;

Learn to do hair extensions through a tutorial first. You will have a rough idea in how to make good hair extensions afterwards.

It isn't hard at all to make them, you can just hot glue the hair to the clips.

But on the other hand, if you are using the clip ins, they will last longer, so maybe putting the money into human hair pre made clips is a good idea.

If it really doesn't matter to you, i would recomend making them, it's cheaper.

works like a charm just apply to the silcone wax/glue etc and just rub the wax in your hands it will slowly start to crumble in your fingers! do one at a time slowly!
