part your hair in sections, put glue on the extenions then place the extenions on your scalp where your part is. -to take them off put conditioner on your scalp and through out your hair, then put a plasic cap on your head let it sit for a while-20 minutes.

have a professional glue them in. it can get really messy and theyll come out very easy if you have someone put them in with not a lot of experience.

You should get someone that has a lot of good experience in this area to glue to them in. If you do them yourself and you are glueing them in in the back of your head, they will not be at there full potential. So just find a professional to do it and I guarantee, you'll be happy.

Do what you want, but I highly suggest staying away from the gluing and sewing. You don't have any idea what kind of damage is going to come from this. I'm a professional extensionist and I only use heat bonding. Seriously, it's the safest bet. Think about what condition your hair will be in when the glue is ripped out, and the stitched-in weave string is going to have to be cut away from your real hair with sissors. It's not pretty. The best kind of extensions to buy are the pre-tipped strands (preferably individuals.. they have better, longer lasting results) and you need to make sure they are 'Keratin tipped'.. Keratin is an excellent protein for the hair itself. Yes, the tips are glued, but they are wrapped with Keratin proteins which protect your hair so much it's unbelievable. If you've already purchased them and you don't care about the outcome, trust your professional stylist to help you out. Doing them yourself will never come out right unless you've done it for years. You'll have to use a tail comb to section the hair.. which means the back as well.. and doing that on your own hair is difficult. It's just best to have someone help you. But, if you want to do them yourself, go right ahead.. make sure to have lots of mirrors to check what you're doing!! That's a given.

Also, check to see what kind of hair you bought. There are hundreds of kinds. Weave, individuals, wefts, bulk, etc. Weave is the kind of hair that is stitched or glued into the hair, which is most likely what you bought. The wefts or 'trac' is what will go into your real hair. If you still want to go the glue route, make sure you buy a really good brand of glue, and the removal liquid for when it's time for them to come out.

If you need any more help, just let me know. I do suggest getting another kind, but that's just me. Also, if you have a great stylist that you can go to, that would be awesome. If you don't, look on the internet for salons in your area and email the stylists to see if any of them would be glad to help you out. Best of luck!

If you're iffy about the whole gluing thing now, I would really suggest searching around on the web for the pre-tipped extensions. Some people say they can get pricey.. totally not the case! Those people just don't know where to look! Email me and i'll give you my top sites for the best of the best quality hair (European and Remy), and the tools. It's where top salons and stylists purchase their equipment from, from the fraction of the cost you find in the States. Trust me.. it's amazing. Good luck!
